Progeon Limited Renamed Infosys BPO Limited

Effective 29 August 2006, Progeon Ltd, the business process outsourcing subsidiary of Infosys Technologies Ltd (Nasdaq:INFY), has been renamed Infosys BPO Ltd. "The new name accurately reflects our heritage and line of business," says Amitabh Chaudhry, CEO and Managing Director, Infosys BPO Ltd. "Our customers, employees, partners, and other stakeholders have always known us to be an integral part of the Infosys group. The new name simply reinforces that message."

Infosys BPO Ltd is a subsidiary of Infosys Technologies Ltd. Over the next few weeks, the Progeon logo, website, email addressees and marketing collateral templates will be replaced by the Infosys logo, website, email addressees and marketing collateral templates.
