Narayana Murthy to Inaugurate Indiaearnings.com

Combining the synergies of CNBC-TV18, CNBC Awaaz, moneycontrol.com and CNBC Global Network, CNBC Universe has unveiled Indiaearnings.com. The aim of this website will be to provide both retail and institutional investors the best possible coverage during the earnings season.

Indiaearnings.com will be a large-scale earnings platform that will provide comprehensive earnings coverage. It will include pre-results, results day and post-results coverage as well as analysis and reference material across TV18's various channels and online properties. Banking on the strength of its association with CNBC Global Network, this integrated platform will also include webcasts, audiocasts, CFO meets and detailed current and archival information about company stocks, including performance and bulk deals on MF holdings.

Indiaearnings.com will be launched on October 11, 2006, along with the announcement of the second quarter results of Infosys. The website will be inaugurated by NR Narayan Murthy, chairman and chief mentor, Infosys. According to executives at CNBC Universe, the website will act as a credible information destination for Indian professional and foreign investors.

Commenting on the need for Indiaearnings.com, Haresh Chawla, chief executive officer, TV18 Group, says, "Indiaearnings.com is the single largest platform which will reach out to more than 40 million affluent, interested Indians. This new offering from the CNBC Universe stable will be one of the most extensive platforms that any company can get for its results coverage."

Indiaearnings.com will touch upon more than 500 companies to give investors all-round earnings coverage. It will allow restricted access to a selective set of professional investors in the country, strictly by invitation. Launched seven years ago, 'Boardroom', the key property show on television channels CNBC-TV18 and CNBC Awaaz, will also be an integral part of the Indiaearnings.com umbrella.
